DEWAYNE RUCKER is a lifelong Missourian. His debut novella, Swift Justice: The Clandestine Protectors, and its sequel, Patriot Partners, is a culmination of nearly four decades working state and federal law enforcement. During this career, he served on protection details for state governors, dignitaries, and security for the Western District Federal Courthouse, Jefferson City. Travel around the country produced ideas for writing suspense, action, drama, and contemporary fiction. Now retired, he enjoys developing storylines for his next novel. He and his wife Maureen live near their son, daughter, and six grandchildren.
