S E Gilchrist is an Australian romance author, living in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Writing as both S. E. Gilchrist and Suzanne Gilchrist, she loves combining romance with adventure and suspense across many different writing genres including science fiction, apocalyptic, exotic locations and contemporary small towns. Several of her books have been shortlisted in writing contests.

Suzanne takes a keen interest in the environment and animal welfare and loves bushwalking and spending time with her family. She is a member of the Romance Writers of Australia, co-runs the Hunter Romance Writers group and is the organiser behind several group writing ventures, including the best-selling Bindarra Creek Romance series, the Deadly Forces series and the Mindalby Outback Romance series.
