Autorenporträt

Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA. Mar Ferrero studied Fine Arts in Madrid She was a cartoonist for some time before becoming an illustrator, which she has now been doing for many years. She has illustrated books and puzzles for Spain, USA, France, United Kingdom, China and Korea. She also writes and publishes her own short stories. Her preferred means of transport is the bike.. She is learning to play the square tambourine, and when she grows up she wants to be a potter. She lives in a town in the mountains near Madrid with her partner, her two daughters, a dog, four chickens and five fish.
