E.L. Gutierrez or fondly called as "Eugene" by his friends, is of Filipino descent and a proud LGBT community member. Currently working as a Senior Publishing Consultant in one of the biggest Publishing Companies in the world, he knows exactly how the publishing world works and this is his clear proof of showing what it's like to be an author. Driven and equipped with writing prowess, he was once an editor-in-chief and the ultimate Senior Staff Writer in the University of both English and Filipino articles. He graduated as Cum laude with a degree of General Education and was awarded as the Most Commendable student. He also holds a certificate of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and has worked as an ESL teacher for almost four years. One of his students became his main reference of the novel's protagonist. He is a loyalist of Britney Spears and a fan of horror movies. One of his biggest inspirations in writing this erotic novel is E.L James' Fifty Shades of Grey and he hopes to sprout the gay version of that controversial piece.
