Their story raises profound questions about the nature of free will, suggesting that perhaps it is an illusion. Yet, amidst their flaws and struggles, Annette and Bob remain undeniably human. It is their humanity, shining through the pages, which gives this novel its poignant and relatable edge.

Denis Gailor graduated in Modern Languages at Oxford University. For many years he taught English Language, English Literature and English Linguistics at the University of Palermo, Italy. Over the years he has published some short stories and some poems. This is his first novel.
