John Townsley has spent over 30 tending bar in New York City. He has served drinks to stars of the silver screen, movie legends, Wall Street bankers, famous designers, rock 'n' rollers, and regular Joes and Janes in a variety of neighborhood haunts in the Big Apple. He's happiest of all when the bar is six deep and he's totally in the weeds. "Once I found a job I that love," he says, "working became a hobby and a passion for me." He's assembled his favorite recipes for this book.
