Elizabeth F. Connell, born in Lexington Massachusetts, was introduced to poetry at a very young age. Her love of nature, literature and geology are woven throughout her published works, Poems l, published in 2009 and Poems ll. Poems ll is published posthumously. Elizabeth F. Connell passed away in 2011, one week after celebrating her 93rd birthday, and three days after writing her final poem for this book, Poems ll.
