About The Author I grew up in Chicago's Stateway Gardens, "The Projects". I was 13 yrs. old when I first saw Dr. Martin Luthor King Jr. in person. He was at the Social Center where I attended theater classes. I was casted in the Red Shoes and the Wizard of OZ. Our director left the center. I needed a outlet to express myself. I had so many ideas running through my head. Sometimes I would think so fast that my hand couldn't keep up with my thoughts That's when I wrote my first book. Looking back on it. It was good, but being young and impatient. I couldn't think of a ending, so I got mad and tossed it. I regret it to this day. I would write poetry but didn't attempt to write another book until I wrote "Wear Panties Next Time". By then I had a 10 yr. old myself.
