Autorenporträt

Handelsman is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He holds a degree in art therapy and advertising from the University of Cincinnati. His career began in 1979 as a free-lance cartoonist and he has since worked for the Scranton Times in Pennsylvania and the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Syndication of his work is handled by Tribune Media Services, Inc., New Orleans.
