An amazing & adventurous trek through this country's not-so humble beginnings via Oscar Wilde, this era's literary equivalent to 'Beatlemania'. The poet/rockstar's outrageous behavior & often scathing social & political commentary, coupled with daily verbal & written duels with the press (based in part on historical documentation) leave one shaking their head & often laughing out loud! Incredible amounts of research & factual data have been woven throughout the narrative, creating a "hand-held", documentary type feel, rarely experienced "reading'.

The sophisticated, historically humorous & cutting-edge delivery of this avant guard material leaves one reeling, feeling as if they'd known the poet personally! The voice captured so aesthetically authentic, as if channeling Oscar Wilde from beyond the very grave. A work of a lifetime, indeed!
