Chapters are authored by topic experts and utilize the most recent scholarship pertaining to positive sexuality. Readers will come to understand diverse sexuality more completely and inextricably linked to other parts of one's identity and learn to address diverse sexual topics and issues more openly and with a spirit of compassion and human connectedness.

Emily E. Prior, M.A. (she/her) is the Founder and Executive Director for the Center for Positive Sexuality. She is a queer femme, an interdisciplinary social scientist, and adjunct professor. D J Williams, Ph.D., is a professor at Idaho State University and a Research Affiliate and Executive Board Member for the Center for Positive Sexuality. His work is known worldwide and focuses primarily on sex as leisure experience and also violent crime as leisure.
