Divine intervention brought about this book. During the last 3 months of my mom's battle with dementia, I left my career in education of 20 years to be able to spend more time with her. During this time, my faith grew a hundredfold as I was able to attend daily mass, bible study and to accompany a friend on her journey to be baptized.

One morning as I approached the church, I received what I can only call a command to write a devotional. I actually laughed and said, "Me, really God?" It's quite ironic because I am not a writer, but I said "Yes, I trust that you will provide the words."

Thus, we, Jesus Christ and I created this book specifically for new believers and those who do not know him YET. It is designed to provide a quick 1-2 minute daily read of a bible verse and a few thoughts to inspire faith. The hope is that you gain an incredible relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Maureen Cardosa is an ordinary person who has always been religious. However, recently, she was called upon to share her faith with others.
Cardosa has over twenty -five years of experience as a teacher and Director of Prekindergarten. She has a bachelor's in Marketing and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Maureen is a wife, mother, grandmother, and marathon runner. She lives in San Diego, California, with her husband and their Frenchie and two cats.
