James Sackos studied criminal law in college, concentrating on the psychology and patterns of serial killers with hopes of joining the FBI-a career path that ultimately didn't materialize. "Prey Before Bed" is his debut novel and the first book in the Balam series-a planned series following the main character Balam. He resides in Cape Coral, Florida, and also spends time at his ranch in Glennville, Georgia, with his devoted wife and growing family of two adult children and their families.
