Liverpool, 1954. Ration books still ration hope. The war is over, but secrets are just beginning.

Detective Silas Walker seeks solace among the pigeons of Princess Park-until a body appears at the docks, clutching a cutting-edge transistor and traces of ginger biscuit from his own kitchen. What begins as an odd murder spirals into a conspiracy that reaches into the heart of Britain's most secretive Cold War project: Remote Vie, a surveillance system capable of watching anyone, anywhere-without them ever knowing.

As Silas follows a trail of cryptic crossword clues, stolen electronics, and Roman-era clay, he uncovers a web of betrayal involving rogue scientists, government operatives, and a silent killer known only as "The Ferryman." With his wife threatened and his sister drawn into the danger, Silas must outthink a foe who sees everything... and erase himself from their sight before it's too late.

In a city still rebuilding from war, the deadliest weapon isn't a bomb-it's being watched.

Autorenporträt
Tyronne was born in 1962 at Addington Hospital in Durban, South Africa. He spent his formative years, nine in total at The Salvation Army Boys Home, where he learned the enduring values of friendship and loyalty. Drawn early to the pulse of innovation in music, Tyronne became fascinated with the pioneering bands shaping modern sound, eventually picking up the bass and joining his first band in 1982.

His journey into writing began with song lyrics, compact narratives that sparked a deeper passion for storytelling. Inspired by literary giants like Wilbur Smith, Stephen King, and John Grisham, and captivated since childhood by the cunning mysteries of Columbo.

Tyronne turned his focus to crafting suspenseful, character-driven tales. Today, he writes with the rhythm of a musician and the precision of a seasoned storyteller, weaving intrigue, emotion, and authenticity into every page.
