Prof. Bal Virdee graduated with a BSc (Engineering) Honours in Communication Engineering and MPhil from Leeds University, UK. He obtained his PhD from University of North London, UK. He was worked as an academic at Open University and Leeds University. Prior to this, he was a research and development Electronic Engineer in the Future Products Dept. at Teledyne Defence (formerly Filtronic Components Ltd., Shipley, West Yorkshire), and at PYE TVT (Philips) in Cambridge. He has held numerous duties and responsibilities at the university, ie: Health and Safety Officer, Postgraduate Tutor, Examination's Officer, Admission's Tutor, Short Course Organiser, Course Leader for MSc/MEng Satellite Communications, BSc Communications Systems and BSc Electronics. In 2010 he was appointed Academic Leader (UG Recruitment). He is a member of ethical committee, member of the school's research committee, and research degrees committee Prof. Sérgio D. Correia received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2000, the Master's Degree in Industrial Control and Maintenance Systems from Beira Interior University, Covilhã, Portugal, in 2010, and the Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2020. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Portalegre Polytechnic University, Portugal. He is also a Researcher at COPELABS - Cognitive and People-centric Computing Research Center, Lusofona University of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon, Portugal, and VALORIZA - Research Center for Endogenous Resource Valorization, Portalegre Polytechnic University, Portalegre, Portugal, and has worked with several private companies for more than 20 years. His current research interests are Embedded Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, and Computer Architecture, topics on which he is an editor of several scientific journals, collaborator at several International Conferences, and guest professor at several European universities. Prof. Punam Bedi is a Senior Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi since July 2018. She worked as officiating Director, Delhi University Computer Centre from Oct. 20, 2017 to April 16, 2018. She was the Head of Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi during Oct. 2005 - Oct 2008. She also worked as the acting Director, Delhi University Computer Centre from June 26 to Oct. 23, 2009. Before joining the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi, she worked as a Lecturer/ Reader in the Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi from January 1987 to January 2002.She did her Doctorate in Computer Science from University of Delhi in 1999. She did her M.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 1986 and M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT Delhi in 1984. She is mainly working in the area of designing and developing intelligent systems. She is using multi agent systems for the development of Intelligent Systems. Fuzzy Logic, Trust and Web Mining are the main techniques used for personalization of these systems based on users' interests. The Google Scholar Citation is 4900 and H index is 32. Several PhD scholars have completed PhD under my supervision. Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Swaroop completed his B.Tech. (CSE) from GBP University of Agriculture & Technology, MTech. from Punjabi University Patiala, and Ph.D. from NIT Kurukshetra. He has Industrial experience of 8 years in organizations like Usha Rectifier Corporations and Envirotech Instruments Pvt. Limited. He has 22 years of teaching experience. He has served in reputed educational institutions such as Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Sharda University Greater Noida and Galhotras University Greater Noida. He has served at various administrative positions such as Head of the Department, Division Chair, NBA coordinator for the university, Head Training & Placements. Currently, he is serving as Professor & HoD department of Information Technology in Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Rohini, and Delhi. He is actively engaged in research. He has more than 60 quality publications out of which 8 are SCI and 16 Scopus. Two of his Ph.D. Scholars have completed his Ph.D. from NIT Kurukshetra and IIT Dhanbad. He is currently supervising one Ph.D. student from AKTU Lucknow. He has guided 10 MTech., Dissertations, and numerous other Projects. He has authored 3 books and 5 book chapters. He had been part of the organizing committee of several IEEE conferences and Springer conferences (ICICC, ICCCN, DoSCI, ICDAM) as co-organizer and steering committee member. He was the convener of recently organized national conference NCCIN-2K18. He is member of various professional societies like CSI and ACM and editorial board of various reputed journals.
