Bekkay Hajji is Professor and Director of the Renewable Energy, Embedded Systems and Information Processing Laboratory in the National School of Applied Sciences at the Mohammed First University. He received his DEA in microelectronics from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Toulouse" (INSAT, France) in 1996 and his Ph.D. from the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS-CNRS), Toulouse, France. He is Author of two proceedings books and one handbook. His research activities focus on the development of biochemical micro-sensors and the application of artificial intelligence techniques in photovoltaic systems. Antonio Gagliano is Associate Professor of Building Physics at the University of Catania, Italy, where he is Scientific Manager of the Laboratory of Applied and Building Physics of the Department of Electric, Electronic and Computer Engineering (DIEEI). He received his M.S. in 1991 and Ph.D. degree in Environmental Applied Physics in 1998. He participated in several national and international research projects. He is Author of more than 130 articles published in reputed international journals and conference proceedings and component of the editorial board of several international journals. Adel Mellit is Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Jijel University, Algeria. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in electronics from the University of Sciences Technologies (USTHB), Algiers, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. His research interests focus on the application of artificial intelligence techniques in photovoltaic systems and micro-grids. He has authored or co-authored more than 170 papers in international peer-reviewed journals (mostly with Elsevier), papers in conference proceedings (mostly with the IEEE) mainly on photovoltaic systems, six book chapters, two proceedings books, and one handbook. He is serving on the editorial board of the Renewable Energy and is Editor of the IEEE Journal of Photovoltaic and of Energy (Elsevier Ltd). Abdelhamid Rabhi is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Picardie Jules Verne of Amiens, France. He completed his Masters in robotics and control systems from the University of Versailles, and his Ph.D. in observation and control for nonlinear and complex systems in December 2005. His research deals with robust control, diagnosis, and observation for complex systems with focus on areas such as vehicles, autonomous robots applications, and renewable energy systems. Michele Calì is Associate Professor of Engineering Design and Methods at the Electronics and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Catania (UdC), Italy. He received M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from UdC in 1995 and Ph.D. degree in Structural Mechanics from UdC in 2000. In May 2023, he obtained National Academic Qualification as Full Professor. He collaborates in many research projects with prestigious Italian and foreign Industrial companies: Ferrari S.p.A., Erg Refineries S.p.A., ISAB Refineries, ST Microelectronics, Fiat S.p.A, Stellantis, NT&T, Euromecc S.p.A., Elasis, FANUC Industrial Robot, Bosh, etc. His research interests include Reverse Engineering techniques, Rapid Prototyping techniques, CAD-CAE modeling and simulations, Development of new sustainable biomaterials, Algorithms Processing, Computer Aided Tolerancing (CAT), Geometric and Structural Optimization in mechanical and biomedical fields. He published more than 80 manuscripts in most valuable International Journals and more than 60 papers in national and international conferences.
