Perhaps they wanted to send a message to the great powers that they were present and watching nuclear weapons? Soviet military divers encountered strange creatures at the bottom of Lake Baikal, and when they tried to capture one, events took a tragic turn. Who were the mysterious figures and what were they looking for in the depths? What secrets do the lakes of the Earth hide, which is why these natural formations are regularly associated with unidentified flying objects? Near the Vranov Dam, the pilots of a Soviet MI-24 combat helicopter followed an unidentified flying object. What was the strange flying object that the combat helicopter chased and why could it not be identified? Perhaps it was a similar phenomenon to the aircraft known as the Tic Tac object that became known decades later? The Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), or the Star Wars project, was launched by the United States of America to protect itself from the nuclear threat of the rival Soviet Union. But was the SDI program really started only to neutralize Soviet nuclear weapons or was there some other extraterrestrial threat in the background? Did President Reagan and General Secretary Gorbachev really agree that the Americans and the Soviets would mutually assist each other in the event of an extraterrestrial attack? I seek answers to such and similar interesting questions in my book.
