An independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization established on August 1, 2014, with its headquarters in the Kingdom of Sweden. We have representatives in Germany, France, Belgium, Canada, the United States, and accredited observers in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, and Egypt.

The Assyrian Monitor for Human Rights aims to raise awareness about human rights violations suffered by Christian communities in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as to promote and consolidate the values of democracy and diversity among various ethnic and religious groups in the Middle East and North Africa as a means to enhance constructive participation and tolerance. Additionally, we focus on issues concerning women and children.

The Work of the Assyrian Monitor for Human Rights

Monitoring and documenting violations against Christian communities and minorities in the Middle East and North Africa through the issuance of statements, reports, and legal studies.

Promoting and consolidating the values of democracy and diversity among various ethnic and religious groups as a means to enhance constructive participation and tolerance, in addition to encouraging and spreading a culture of integration among migrants in European countries. This is achieved through workshops, conferences, training courses, documentary films, lectures, and advocacy campaigns.

Supporting women's issues and working to empower them to effectively play their role in society. This is done through workshops and meetings, exchanging experiences among women from different parts of the world, and providing legal advice when needed.

Monitoring and following up on elections worldwide by forming or participating in international, regional, and local missions.

Publishing and printing books, booklets, and publications aimed at educating the community on legal and human rights issues.
