Chuck has always had a passion for adventure and approached sailing, cycling, and motorcycle touring with the same obsession as building a successful manufacturing business with his dad. After managing and later buying the company, Chuck grew the business to twenty million in annual revenue and successfully sold the company for $10M in 2006. In the year 2000, he experienced a business and personal personal mid-life crisis that is the basis for his book Purpose: A Journey from Breakdown to Breakthrough. His redemption and restoration from this experience has deepened his faith and led him to a passion for giving back and serving community. Chuck has taught entrepreneurship with Junior Achievement and mentored students at the renowned Wolf Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston. He directs a special needs ministry and serves as an elder for Sienna Ranch Baptist Church. He and his wife Miriam just celebrated 50 years of marriage. He is working on two other literary works. One is a business guide to developing and implementing incentive systems and the other is recounting his sailing adventures with his friend Kevin.
