Produktbeschreibung
Bestselling author, Bible scholar and theologian Marcus Borg demonstrates the transformative power of faith and the Bible in this story of a college professor, her students, and a crisis of faith. In Putting Away Childish Things, Kate, a teacher at a small university, finds herself confronted by a series of personal and professional crises which cause her to re-examine her life and values.

Kate's story brings to life many of the theological and social issues that divide Christians today. What is the Bible? What is the nature of faith? How does the study of religion relate to the practice of religion? And are reason and faith friends or foes? Kate's struggles illustrate the challenges faced by contemporary Christianity.
