On June 24th, 1981, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to two young girls, Mirjana Dragicevic and Ivanka Ivankovic, as they were walking along the outskirts of the village of Medjugorje near the Adriatic Coast in hte mountainous region of Bosnia. She is the host of a nationally syndicated radio program called The Power of Love and the founder of the Pittsburgh Center for Peace (a Marian organization), and the international Queen of Peace newsletter. Connell is also a practicing attorney in ethics and international law.
