Mohammad Tahir Khan is an Indian author, researcher, and multilingual Qur'an translator based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He was born in Utraula, District Balrampur, but grew up and completed all his schooling in Lucknow. Coming from an academic and service-oriented family-his father served as a school principal and retired in 2002, and his maternal grandfather was also a principal-Tahir was raised in an environment that valued knowledge, discipline, and education. His elder brother is a doctor, and his father's brother also serves in the medical field.A consistently strong student, Tahir scored 75% in high school and 84% in intermediate, before completing his Mechanical Engineering degree from Amity University, Lucknow. Over time, he has become known for simplifying complex subjects and making them easily understandable for readers across different backgrounds.He has translated the Qur'an into 50+ languages, placing him among the most diverse Qur'an translators of his generation. In addition to religious and spiritual writing, he is active in multiple genres such as psychology, nutrition, health, self-development, history, and comparative religion.Tahir also runs his independent publishing label, Mohammad Tahir Khan & Co.
