Numerous avatars, some divine, others more mundane, across the world saw the man transform from an officer in the British Gurkhas in the late sixties, and after travelling overland to Zambia where he worked as a guide on photographic safaris on foot and met his preceptor, he became an orthodox Hindu monk for four years. That formed the basis for his real education leading to in-depth studies of Vedanta, Sanskrit, ayurveda, and Indian culture. Fast forward to France, after periods spent in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Far East, he settles as a technical French-English translator, the compiler of three dictionaries, before globalization throws the whole translation world into disarray, and he returns to the study of geomancy, radiesthesia and Chinese medicine. An eleven-year stint in Thailand results in his becoming a full-time radiesthesist actively applying the lessons learned along the way to resolving geopathic stress, providing solutions for health, researching concerns both natural and man-made, and such related matters.
