Michael Anthony, a spirited 9-year-old, faces a new family, school, and challenges after being rejected by his previous adoptive parents. With only his stuffed Sock Monkey as a constant, he dreams of reuniting with his birth mother and finding belonging. Navigating bullies, family dynamics, and a daring escape, Michael's resilience shines.
