D. S. Faughnan, also known as Don Julius Paganel, shares his 10/02 birthday with Mahatma Ghandi, Groucho Marx, Nat Turner, Henry Greene, & Sting; social activists all. Inspired by Voltaire's "Candide" he decided that modern literature was too serious to express mystic truths in everyday language. Raised in what became Silicon Valley he fled to rural Mendocino, and Angels Camp, California to clear his mind in the haunts of Jack London and Mark Twain. He currently lives in rural Tennessee outside of Nashville with his wife & dogs.
