Hiroyuki Okamura received the B.S.E., M.S., and D.Eng. degrees in engineering from Hiroshima University, Higashihiroshima, Japan, in 1995, 1997, and 2001, respectively. In 1998, he joined Hiroshima University as an Assistant Professor, where he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, since 2003. He is now a Processor with the Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, since 2018. His research interests include performance evaluation, dependable computing, and applied statistics. He is a regular member of IEEE, ACM, Institute of Electrical, Information and Communication Engineers, the Information Processing Society of Japan, the Reliability Engineering Association of Japan, and a fellow member of the Operations Research Society of Japan. Shinji Inoue was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, in 1978. He received the B.S.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Tottori University, Japan, in 2001, 2003, and 2006, respectively. He has been working as Full Professor of the Faculty of Informatics, Kansai University, Osaka, Japan, since April 2021 after he had worked as Assistant Professor of the Graduated School of Engineering, Tottori University, Tottori, Japan (April 2006 -- March 2017) and as Associate Professor of the Faculty of Informatics, Kansai University (April 2017--March 2021). His research interests include software reliability engineering, quality control, and functional safety. He is a regular member of the IEEE, the Operations Research Society of Japan, the Japanese Society for Quality Control, the Information Processing Society of Japan, Reliability Engineering Association of Japan, and the IEICE. Dr. Inoue received The IEEE Reliability Society Japan Chapter 2006 Outstanding Young Scientist Award, Outstanding Paper Award at IEEE-IEEM 2008, Amity Global Academic Excellence Award (Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India) in 2017, and Best Paper Award at APARM 2018. Xiao Xiao received the B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D.Eng. from Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan, in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University from April 2013 to September 2013. In October 2013, she joined the Department of Management Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Systems Design, Tokyo Metropolitan University, as an assistant professor, and was promoted to associate professor in April 2022. Her research areas include software reliability engineering, system performance evaluation, time series analysis, and network design. She is a regular member of ACM, IEEE, IEICE, IPSJ, JIMA, ORSJ, and REAJ.
