My name is Helena Basque. I was attacked by a strange wolf that scarred my face when I was seven years old. That creature was part of the Lycanthru, a cult of men who transform themselves into large wolves that can still speak and plan attacks on our province.

Until a new band of Lycanthru deceived me and all of my friends, making them believe I had gone insane. My enemies carted me away to the dangerous province of DeSarte and locked me in their asylum, a secret lair where they imprison and torture everyone who opposes their reign of terror.
I'm trapped and helpless, with no weapons, no allies, and no way of escape, while the wolves prey on the innocent and everyone I love back home.
But I've come too far to give up now.
I'm breaking out of here, however I can, and I'm bracing myself for all-out war.
