Autorenporträt

I am a United Methodist minister and native Oregonian who has served urban, rural, and suburban congregations in Oregon and Idaho for over 25 years. I have also worked for United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and Community Action in Washington County and did community organizing and program development at Catholic Charities in San Francisco. Currently, I facilitate conversations on "Talking Values Across Political Divides" for Oregon Humanities. I have published a number of opinion pieces, poems, and short essays in local publications. Navigating Trumpworld: A Spiritual Guide for Turbulent Times was published through Resource Publications, an imprint of Wipf and Stock Publishers, in August 2025. In addition, Rediscovering the Spirit: From Political Brokenness to Spiritual Wholeness was first released through Wipf and Stock Publishers in October 2020.
