Autorenporträt

Bil Howard was raised on a cattle ranch in Colorado. He was taught and fully aware of God from birth, raised in the Lutheran tradition and confirmed at age 12. Bil was 12 when he surrendered to Christ after reading the Gospel of John. He found a deep love of God's Word and read the New Testament four times and the entire Bible once before 18 years old. His entire worldview is shaped by scripture. He has been a Sunday school teacher, the leader of a crisis pregnancy ministry and a leader of various Bible studies. His undergrad degree was in pre-law and he studied for two graduate degrees in education and counseling. He earns a living through contract writing of website content on a freelance basis.

Sandra Ardila is a native of Medellin who has had a love of English language music and movies since she was a child. She came to the Lord through translating devotionals that I was writing in June of 2017. She has matured rapidly in the faith, consuming God's Word with an insatiable hunger. On the heels of her surrender to Christ was the surrender of her mother, Gladys, her son, Bryan, and her daughter in-law, Claudia. Her development as a Biblical counselor has been a major focus and extremely important as we deal with a wide range of abuse issues involving women in Caldas. She is developing her own business along with her mother, sewing baby clothing, pajamas, and other artistic type creations.

Our focus is on Biblical counseling and discipleship. We both believe in the complete sufficiency of scripture in ALL areas of life. Transformation comes through a renewing of the mind accomplished by the Holy Spirit using the Word of God as His primary means. We practice what we teach, each of us setting aside a minimum of three hours daily for prayer and Bible study. This discipline has grown out of necessity as we have recognized the weakness of our own wisdom and capacity to serve the small flock God has entrusted to us.
