Autorenporträt

Peter Longley was educated at Tonbridge School, Kent and gained his master s in theology at St. Catharine s College, Cambridge, England, in 1970. After being an estate manager in Ireland, he moved to the USA. In 1978, he went to sea, becoming a cruise director with Royal Viking Line, and in 1989, he joined Cunard as the cruise director of Queen Elizabeth 2 for ten years, ending up as a world cruise port lecturer, speaking on the history and culture of all ports of call. Later, he became the horticultural interpreter of a large botanical garden in Springfield, Missouri. He started writing in 1987 and was an associate member of the Weststar Institute and the historical Jesus movement and a guest lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies at Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, USA. He returned to England in 2017 and now has thirteen published books.
