This is the inspiring true story of how Bonnie Davis overcame many hardships in her life through faith in God and prayer. Bonnie suffered abuse as a child at the hands of her father. This is the inspiring true story of how Bonnie Davis overcame many hardships in her life through faith in God and prayer.
Bonnie suffered abuse as a child at the hands of her father. She also endured rejection at school when she couldn't learn to read due to an undiagnosed reading disability called Dyslexia. These experiences left her searching for peace, happiness, and someone to love her. Thinking that she would find these things in marriage, she persuaded a man that she barely knew to marry her. Instead of the contentment she sought, her marriage yielded only more heartache and rejection. Then Bonnie turned her life over to God and as she looked to Him in prayer with faith, miraculous things began to happen. God healed her of the past, helped her to pray for her husband's salvation, taught her to read, and healed her of cancer. Bonnie was then able to use her unhappy childhood experiences to minister to children, bringing over 500 of them to Sunday School.
This is a story of encouragement to anyone who has ever suffered heartache or hardship.

"Bonnie is the epitome of Christianity in action. While her story of divine healing is inspiring, it might take a second place to her less told story of personal evangelism. If we all spread the Gospel in Bonnie's manner, like the early church, we would be accused of turning the world upside down."
- Rev. Darrel D. Lee, Superintendent General, Apostolic Faith Church, Portland, Oregon.
