Resolving Issues with Your Boss equips you with practical strategies to regain control of your professional life. Rather than relying on quick fixes or empty advice, this book draws on decades of experience in conflict resolution, leadership analysis, and organizational change. It provides six core approaches, each designed to help you navigate workplace conflict and the complex dynamics of power.

Inside, you'll learn how to:

  • Recognize patterns of conflict before they spiral out of control.
  • Rebuild trust when relationships have been damaged.
  • Use questions that encourage dialogue instead of shutting it down.
  • Cross professional boundaries safely and wisely when the situation demands it.
  • Protect yourself with careful documentation that strengthens your position.

These strategies are adaptable across industries and roles. Whether you're working under a boss who is simply difficult or one whose behavior verges on toxic, you will find tools to reduce tension, improve communication, and protect your career trajectory.

The book emphasizes realism rather than illusions: conflict rarely disappears overnight, but with preparation and clarity, you can increase your chances of a healthier and more balanced workplace relationship. Each strategy includes examples, guidance for implementation, and a focus on timing and psychological safety, so you can act with confidence rather than fear.
