After graduating at twenty-four, he left the elementary school and went to Zeeburg Secondary School where he taught History and Social Studies for twelve years. He later furthered his studies at the University of Guyana and obtained a Diploma in Education.
In 1986, Mr. Arjune migrated to the United States. He later joined the Board of Education of New York as a teacher, in September, 1991. Frank then attended the University of Long Island and obtained a Master's Degree in Science in 1993. He taught in New York City for over seventeen years and retired in 2009 and now lives in Florida. Frank is also the author of the Guyana Exodus which was published in 1995.
