Revelation ---at last is the moving true account of Richard W. Turner, Sr. as he reflects on a lifetime of experiences shaped by love and the guidance of God in the wake of the greatest challenge he ever faced.

This collection of personal stories spans from Turner's boyhood in upstate New York to his wartime service flying over "The Hump", his years in community leadership, and some treasured moments of family life. At its heart is the love story of Dick and Caroline, his wife of more than fifty-six years, whose passing left him feeling like "half of a person".

Through story, verse, and study, Turner shares openly his journey through grief and loss toward peace and renewed purpose. He writes of the blessings that come from walking closely with God, the lessons learned in seasons of hardship, the endurance and courage to persevere, and the promise of eternal reunion with those we love.

For readers seeking comfort and inspiration or simply a glimpse into a life lived with integrity and hope, Revelation ---at last offers a heartfelt reminder that even in loss, God's love sustains, and that your story continues.

Autorenporträt
Richard W. Turner, Sr. (1924-2004) was a World War II veteran, decorated pilot, artist, author, and devoted husband and father whose life was marked by service, creativity, humility, and deep faith. Born in Johnson City, New York, Turner answered the call of duty, serving with distinction in the China-Burma-India (CBI) Theater. As a pilot, he flew 72 1/2 missions over the treacherous Himalayan supply route known as "The Hump", an experience that shaped his character and perspective for the rest of his life. After the war, Turner became a leader in the Boy Scouts of America, raised a family, was active in his church, and enjoyed painting, nature, and whittling woodcarvings. He shared 56 years with the love of his life, Caroline, and began writing in his later years to reflect on his life's most defining moments.
