I love reading Laura's poems aloud. They celebrate the union of all of existence and speak to the spirituality we can accomplish in our mortal lives, hers ending all too soon. Grief after losing my son twenty-six years ago softens as I revel in the light Laura sings of. May Laura's words stay with me always:
Every wave washing over your feet.
Every breeze against your face.
Every monarch wing in flight.
