Autorenporträt
Mr. Isaac Brown Jr. was born and raised in the small town of Salem, New Jersey, and has lived in New Castle, Delaware, for over 40 years. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology degree from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. He is excited to presenthis second book of original poems, which reflects his insights and emotional responses to both past and present life experiences.Mr. Brown began writing poetry at the age of 11. In addition to poetry, he has authored plays and co-written several songs. One of his recent lyrical achievements includes a song he wrote, featuring music composed by his cousin, Daryl Howard, and performed by the Nurons, which was sampled by three-time Grammy Award winner The Weeknd! The track appears on The Weeknd's album Hurry Up Tomorrow.Isaac is also the author of I See You, A Poetic Experience and contributed a chapter to the book Let Us Make a Man. His work has been featured in Newark Delaware's ongoing literary project, Dreamstreets magazine. His poem "I Am That I Am," originally selected for Dreamstreets, is also included in his book River Of Truth.
