Safar Berlik means mass deportation in Turkish. A hundred years ago, specifically in the year 1334 AH corresponding to 1915 AD, a large number of Turkish soldiers disembarked in Medina, after a long and strenuous journey coming from Istanbul, they were heavily armed, rude and strict orders.
