Satan Roars! Whispering His Lies! By Sandra Mackey The Bible is not about Satan. The Bible is God's message to his earthly family about his Son, Jesus Christ. However, since humanity's fall in the Garden of Eden, Satan has been trying to steal God's precious human creatures for his own evil purposes...precious human creatures that God's own son died to save. Among other reasons, he does this to keep us from glorifying God and spreading the good news of the gospel. This book is a mystery of opposites and contradictions as we recognize the spiritual war taking place in our individual lives and in our world at large. Spiritual realities include God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, as well as God's messengers and agents, whoever or whatever they may be. Yet they also include Satan as he prowls around seeking to destroy those who believe and obey God. He also has his messengers and agents, and if we believe that in this age there continues to be active participation in our lives by angels or other spirit beings, we can't take the good and reject the evil. Nor should we accept the evil and resist the good. There is ample evidence of both forces at work among us. However, none of this will be frightening for children of God. Believers understand that this earth is not our home. We were created for the new heaven and new earth that Jesus Christ has prepared for us. I believe that heaven will be a home of endless joy and love, and that once again we will have access to the Tree of Life without any interference from Satan. Believers must know that this is our great hope to live righteously here on earth. In fact, because of our complete faith and hope in what is to come, we live with anticipation as if we were already there. "Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work." (1 John 3:7-8)

Sandra's love of teaching and Bible study has enabled her to dedicate her talents to speaking and writing, and her computer skills have promoted her interest in art, poetry, freelance writing, editing, and website design. As an Able Toastmaster, she has been the key-note speaker for inspirational and motivational workshops in eight Southern states.
