Produktbeschreibung
Teaching in the late 21st Century is not what it used to be. It is a dangerous and challenging time for teachers, as the rise of Nationalism has led to the widespread existence of FunCs, the Fundamental Conservatives who uphold historical black-and-white laws and beliefs, using violence where necessary.

In his mid-twenties, Pete Karlson has swapped his military career as a Tech Medic to take up a teaching position at Lakefield Federal High School. It is his first day as a teacher, and he must prove not only that he can manage his students and the array of contemporary subjects he has been given to teach, but also demonstrate his technological and survival skills, negotiate the sexual attentions of female colleagues, and survive attacks on his life.

Livee Beckridge has attempted to escape the twisted, deceptive world of Counter Intelligence to transition to the more honest and stable world of teaching. Unfortunately, her former boss has other ideas, and on her first day at Lakefield Federal High School, she finds herself working undercover, assigned to protecting a fellow teaching colleague and gathering intelligence information on her colleagues, whilst also attempting to launch her new career. It's going to be a busy day, especially as others cross her path with their own agendas.

This short novel (80000 words, 190 pages), aimed at adult audiences, mixes speculative science fiction with romance, action and a bit of erotica for a fast-paced read.
