Bailey was born on the island of Jamaica. He immigrated to Florida as a child and spent over two decades in the military after graduating high school. As the 1st in his family to join the American military, he navigated the challenges of: life, loss, love, and lost love, on a foundation of beliefs rooted in his upbringing in the Churches of Christ in Jamaica. He enjoys reading, basketball, and in-depth dialogue about the wisdom of GOD. Bailey lives in New York with his wife and child.
