Autorenporträt
Dr. Weiland is now a retired general surgeon who rose from humble beginnings as a "farm boy" to the highest echelons of the surgical community, holding board certification in General Surgery and Special Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care. He practiced surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona, for fifty-three years and served as a mentor and teacher to surgical residents at Maricopa County Hospital for twentyeight years. He also received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
