Shaping a Leader's Soul: For Lasting Impact and Joyful Living is a book in the categories of Leadership and Christian Living and Spirituality that equips people with perspective, resilience, and direction for living and leading in turbulent times. Leaders in all walks of life are under immense pressure because of the collapse of a moral and ethical consensus combined with conflicting worldviews, interpersonal tensions, local and global conflicts, and economic uncertainties. Competing values and diverse ideologies threaten the fabric of the social order from families to nations. These challenges cannot be managed simply by working harder or being smarter. At the most basic level, they are matters of the heart and soul.

Shaping a Leader's Soul provides a framework for meaning, motivation, and the mindset that brings clarity and confidence. Rooted in biblical thought, time-tested wisdom, and practical experience, Shaping a Leader's Soul, inspires faith, awakens hope, and kindles love for God and others. It exposes the futility of self-sufficiency and empowers soul-sufficiency by teaching readers to shift from relying on their limited wisdom and ability to relying on God's unlimited resources. Readers learn to establish and embrace their identity in Christ. They are trained how to define their motivation in light of their ultimate destiny beyond this world. They are shown how to pursue their ultimate contribution as partners with God in God's strategy to make this world a place where God's kingdom "comes and God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

People in leadership with influence and responsibility will, sooner or later, reach the limits of their mental, physical, and emotional resources. They will be drained, tapped out, and burned out unless they learn to live and lead God's way in God's power. Those who learn this will lead lives of significance and satisfaction, for lasting impact and joyful living,
