Medusa and Poseidon are set to wed each other before the season's end, but nothing is going right.
Medusa's sisters seem incapable of acting on the level of the goddesses who will also attend the wedding. Medusa finds herself increasingly insecure in her form as a monster. And if that weren't bad enough, the hero Perseus suddenly remembers his time in the grave-and he demands revenge.
There is one satisfactory victory in sight. If Medusa follows one ancient ritual given to her by the fates, she will be capable of turning herself back into a human. What she doesn't count on is Poseidon joining in on the rites with her, condemning himself to a human form as well.
With the gods on their tails, both Poseidon and Medusa have to work together to avoid overt extermination.
This is the third book in the Medusa vs. Life trilogy, Sierra Storm's retelling of the myth of Medusa and Poseidon.
