Under the tutelage of Pt. Budhaditya Mukherjee, a recipient of the Padma Bhushan award, Vatsal studied at the Rotterdam World Music Conservatory and continues to seek guidance in Kolkata. He performs internationally, teaches, and has created an English-friendly music notation system. His notable works include the albums "Lone Star Sitar," "Himalayan Sunrise," and "Immortal Beloved." Vatsal Dave is the author of "Sitar 101: Introduction to Indian Classical Sitar (Tale of Two Ragas Book Series)". With a background in engineering and business, Dave has also dedicated himself to music, specifically the sitar. Over the years, he has collaborated with many artists- the Grammy award-winning musician Art Greenhaw, the talented violinist and composer Marek Eneti, and Lumedia Musicworks, showcasing his passion for various genres of music.
