Autorenporträt
Dr. Mulligan grew up in New England. He graduated from Tufts Medical School in Boston and did Radiology training through the Army at Tripler Medical Center in Hawaii. After 13 years of active duty, he became a Professor of Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He recently retired from that position after 29 years there. He remains a member of many medical societies including, the Society of Academic Bone Radiologists, the International Skeletal Society and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He has published over 70 scientific papers and authored or co-authored 3 books: Classic Radiologic Signs: An Atlas and History; Musculoskeletal Imaging Handbook; and History of Bone Tumor Pathology and Radiology. He has two sons and lives with his wife in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
