Robin Elizabeth Kobayashi's historical coming-of-age novel, I, Sofia-Elisabete: Love Child of Colonel Fitzwilliam (Kirkus Reviews, starred review), was named to Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2018. The sequel, Only Sofia-Elisabete (Kirkus Reviews, starred review), was named to Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2021, and was honored with a B.R.A.G. Medallion. Her historical coming-of-age novella, Twelfth-Night Cake & the Rosings Ghost, was a finalist in the 2018 Wishing Shelf Book Awards. Her historical sports novella, My Cousin Darcy, won the Silver Medal for Audiobooks at the 2023 Wishing Shelf Book Awards, and was also honored with a B.R.A.G. Medallion. In 2024, her historical women's fiction novella, Something About Lizzy, was a Finalist in the 2024 Chanticleer Int'l Book Awards, and was also honored with a B.R.A.G. Medallion. Her short story, "Goya's Muse," was published in the Copperfield Review Quarterly in 2021.
