She is blessed with three children - two daughters who are also 'Hard of Hearing', and one son. Carol is currently pursuing a degree in filmmaking at Cuyahoga Community College. She is a champion of obstacles that pertain to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Carol plans to bring the characters in her novels to life on the movie screen.
