Autorenporträt
Marty Howes is a living history reenactor. He also is a follower of Christ who believes what Jesus told Nicodemus; "you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven." For 30+ years Marty has held many roles in churches around the world, in full time and layman positions. He has experienced in his life, and witnessed in the lives of others, the constant struggle of God's perfection vs. the corruption of the world. Marty has spent over four decades studying ancient history. He has participated in several seasons of archaeology field work to include 2 seasons on a Roman site in Wiesbaden Germany. He has also performed experimental archaeology for many years, and even gained access to unpublished data from universities globally. In this role he was featured in the History Channel documentary Crime And Punishment in the Ancient World. His goal is to help others enrich their knowledge of biblical understanding through deeper insight into the historical context of holy scripture.
