There was this innocent, naive person called Bong-Pil, who had entered a rich family's house as a prospective son-in-law since they had no sons but only three daughters. The problems was that the father of that family was well known for his arrogant behavior and nasty personality throught the whole village. But despite the bad reputation of his future father-in-law, he has dedicated himself to helping his farm works as he was promised from the family that they would marry him to his second daughter Jeom-Sun. But they continued to come up with different excuses and reasons why they couldn't get him married soon. Most of all, they cited their daughter's stunted height as the main reason for denying Bong-Pil's desperate demand for his marriage. Extremely frustrated, one day he dragged his "master" to the village chief. The village head managed to get a promise from the old man to get the young man married in the coming fall. Despite this, this old master continued to reject Bong-Pil's urge to confirm his promise. And after the future bride called him an idiot for failing to make things happen, he couldn't stand it anymore. So one day, he decided to stop working and just lay down on the ground just outside the house. When the old man found him lying there, the brutal fight between them occurred. Bong-Pil wouldn't easily give up this time. When the fight approached the end, totally unexpected things happened. Future mother-in-law and his future bride came to the scene, but to his utter surprise, what happened was not what he'd expected!
