Autorenporträt

Jessa Leigh grew up in Florida where she spent most of her time reading books, writing poetry, and dancing at music festivals. She has been writing poetry since she was in middle school, and it has always been her dream to publish a poetry book. Stages is the first published offering of her heart, accomplished at age 28. She is currently composing her second and third books of poetry, to be announced later.

Jessa Leigh loves animals and nature. She has a chocolate lab/pit mix, and a hatian tree boa. She now lives in North Carolina and has worked as a bartender, server, and in various professions with animals. Some of her biggest inspirations for poetry are e. e. cummings, and Rupi Kaur.

Jessa Leigh's poetry is about love, loss, connectivity, and the growth that comes after some of the most painful and traumatic experiences life unfortunately can bring.
